My book generation stopped halfway. What happened?
Long generation tasks occasionally time out. Your progress is saved — open the book from your dashboard and click 'Continue Generation' to resume from where it stopped.
Can I edit the AI-generated content?
Yes, completely. Every chapter is editable text. Click into any chapter to edit, or use the refinement prompts to ask the AI to revise specific sections.
Why does my character sound different in chapter 8?
This can happen with very long books. Use the 'Reinforce Character' option in the chapter editor to resync the AI's understanding of that character before regenerating.
I accidentally deleted a chapter. Can I recover it?
Yes. Go to your book settings and click 'Version History' to restore any previous version of your manuscript.
Does Authoryti work in languages other than English?
Currently English only. Multi-language support is on our roadmap and expected in mid-2026.
Who owns the content I generate?
You do, completely. All content generated on Authoryti belongs to you. We don't claim any rights over your work.
